What are your fees?

What woods do you work with?
- Again, that is determined by your requirements and budget. Some materials aren't as costly as others, so depending on what you want that will tell us what we will work with. We work with real woods, wood laminates and MDF.
What if I want to match a colour to something I already have in my home?
- No problem, we can colour match your existing piece to tie your room together beautifully!
Can I use existing components (i.e. bathtub or sink) to keep my cost down?
- Certainly - you tell us what you want and we will work with you to make it happen within your budget.
Are your plumbers and electricians licensed?
- YES - we only use licensed trades people on all of our jobs.
Is your work guaranteed?
- YES - we offer a one year warranty from defects in workmanship.... and we will provide that to you in writing.
Are you expensive?
- We feel our pricing is well within industry standards; in some cases we have been told that we were priced better than our competitors and our work is better.
Why should I redo my kitchen or bath?
- Remodelling or updating your kitchen or bath is the fastest way to increase the overall value of your home. Additionally an updated kitchen or bath can also help you sell your home quicker.
How much money do you need up front?
- Typically we ask for a 40% non-refundable deposit up front; thereafter we ask for an additional 30% upon execution of the job and the balance due upon completion.
Do you take credit cards?
- Yes - if you have Internet access you can pay through our PayPal Account using major credit cards.
What if I don't like the initial design/drawing you come up with - is there a fee to have additional drawings done?
- If you don't like the initial design idea, that's OK - we will work with you until we can come up with something that YOU like - it is your home, so the decision is yours, not ours. There are no additional fees for 1-3 drawings, however anything after the third drawing is $150 each.
What is your turn around time?
- That depends on the scope of the work - once we have met with you to determine what you need, we will provide you with a quotation for the job and include an estimated completion date.
Do you install countertops?
- We personally don't install them, however we work with specialists in that field. Granite countertop cutting is an art and we like to leave that with the experts.
What if I only want you to do certain aspects of my job (i.e. I want you to make the cabinets, but I have a friend to do the countertops) - is that OK?
- Yes - that is not a problem at all; we will work with your trades people to ensure a seamless installation.
